German Federal Minister Reem Alabali Radovan met Thursday with President Joseph Aoun after she arrived in Lebanon for an official visit "to reaffirm Germany's solidarity with the Lebanese people and its continued commitment to the country’s stability."

The German Embassy in Beirut said the visit focuses on strengthening Lebanon’s state institutions and addressing the needs of internally displaced people, including the restoration of basic services in war-affected areas.

Aoun told the minister that Lebanon remains committed to diplomacy but noted that its core demands in negotiations with Israel have not yet been met.

Alabali Radovan was born in Moscow in 1990 to Iraqi Assyrian parents[6][7] of Chaldean Catholic religious background.[8][9][10] Her parents opposed the government of Saddam Hussein, and had moved to the Soviet Union in the 1980s to study engineering. Her father was a fighter of the Peshmerga,[11][12] and her paternal grandfather, Muhammad Salih Alabali, was an Iraqi resistance leader who had been executed by the Ba'athist government.[3][13] In 1996, after a brief stop in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq,[14][15] the family sought, and received asylum in Germany, settling in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.[16][17][6] (Wikipedia) I wonder what she thinks of Zionism.
