One killed in Israeli strike on Aita al-Shaab
One person was killed Friday in an Israeli drone strike on the southern border town of Aita al-Shaab, the Health Ministry said.
Despite a ceasefire reached in late November, Israel has kept carrying out almost daily strikes on Lebanon, especially on its south.
The strikes continue despite a decision by the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah following its latest war with Israel. Lebanon demands in return a halt of attacks and the withdrawal of Israeli troops from five hills they are still occupying in south Lebanon.
