Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday vowed to keep striking Hezbollah to "create an opportunity for peace” with Lebanon.

Netanyahu added that the Lebanese people, “for the most part, want peace” with Israel.

The Israeli premier voiced his remarks at a memorial event marking three years since Hamas’ October 7, 2023 attack on Israel. Since that attack, Israel has fought wars on several fronts, including two wars against Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon.
