Trump again claims al-Sharaa promised to help on Hezbollah
U.S. President Donald Trump has said anew that Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa has promised to help on the issue of Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Asked whether al-Sharaa has made any “commitments” to him on “helping with Hezbollah in Lebanon,” Trump told a reporter: “Yeah he did. He’s done a great job. He’s unified Syria.”
“I’m not gonna tell you what he said, but yeah, he was great today,” Trump added.
