Trump says Lebanon not part of ceasefire agreement

The Israel-Hezbollah conflict in Lebanon is not covered by a temporary ceasefire deal between Washington and Tehran, U.S. public broadcaster PBS quoted President Donald Trump as saying Wednesday.

"They were not included in the deal," Trump said, according to a social media post by PBS News Hour correspondent Liz Landers. He added that it was "because of Hezbollah," the Iran-backed group.

"That'll get taken care of too," he reportedly said, adding: "That's a separate skirmish."

Apparently that's not what his negotiators told the Iranian negotiators and intermediaries. Let's get their version of what they committed the US to.
He doesn't seem gaga. I think he's just willingly ignorant: "skirmish" and your other headline says Israel destroyed a high-rise building in Beirut to get one person. Trump needs a lot of lubrication.
