واشنطن: البنتاغون يحرك قوات في حال قرر أوباما القيام بعمل عسكري بسوريا

اعلن وزير الدفاع الاميركي تشاك هيغل الجمعة ان البنتاغون يقوم بعملية تحريك للقوات كي تكون جاهزة في حال قرر الرئيس باراك اوباما تنفيذ عمل عسكري ضد سوريا.
وقال هيغل للصحافيين المرافقين له على متن الطائرة في طريقه الى ماليزيا انه وفي خضم الدعوات لتدخل عسكري ضد النظام السوري بعد الاتهامات التي وجهت له باستخدام السلاح الكيميائي فان القادة العسكريين الاميركيين حضروا للرئيس مجموعة من "الخيارات" اذا ما قرر شن هجوم على نظام بشار الاسد.
ولكن الوزير رفض اعطاء اي تفاصيل عن عديد القوات التي تم تحريكها او عتادها.
واوضح ان "وزارة الدفاع لديها مسؤولية تزويد الرئيس بالخيارات لكل الاحتمالات".
واتى تصريح هيغل بعيد اعلان مسؤول عسكري اميركي لوكالة فرانس برس الجمعة ان البحرية الاميركية نشرت في البحر المتوسط مدمرة رابعة مجهزة بصواريخ كروز، وذلك بعد الاتهامات الاخيرة التي وجهت الى نظام الرئيس بشار الاسد باستخدام اسلحة كيميائية ضد مناطق في ريف العاصمة.
وقال المسؤول ان الاسطول الاميركي السادس المسؤول عن منطقة البحر المتوسط قرر ترك المدمرة "يو اس اس ماهان" في مياه المتوسط، في حين انه كان يفترض بها ان تعود الى مرفئها نورفولك على الساحل الشرقي للولايات المتحدة وان تحل محلها المدمرة "يو اس اس راماج".
وبالتالي فان اربع مدمرات اميركية (غريفلي، باري، ماهان وراماج) جميعها مزودة بعشرات صواريخ توماهوك العابرة ستجوب مياه التوسط عوضا عن ثلاث مدمرات في العادة.
واكد هيغل ان "الرئيس طلب من وزارة الدفاع تزويده بالخيارات المتاحة. وكالعادة وزارة الدفاع مستعدة وكانت مستعدة لتزويد رئيس الولايات المتحدة بكل الخيارات لكل الاحتمالات".
وشدد هيغل وكذلك ايضا مسؤولون عسكريون اميركيون على انه لم يتخذ حتى الان اي قرار باستخدام القوة ضد نظام بشار الاسد.

How Iran the nastiest predator? Is it because they refuse to run their countries the way external forces want it to be run? Or is it because they do not want to be robbed of their natural resources like every other arab puppet government?
Please enlighten me as I do not see what Iran has done to earn the criticism you target them with. You praise Dick Cheney as if he has done good things in the Middle East. Was he not responsible for, to use your words, "flattening" Iraq on the outright lie that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction.
