Netflix Inc. is giving kids and their parents a new reason to embrace its Internet video subscription service amid an outcry over an upcoming price increase.
A "Just For Kids" tab will be added to subscribers' accounts on Netflix's website beginning Tuesday. Clicking on the feature will pull up a list of kid-friendly recommendations drawn from about 1,000 movies and TV shows in Netflix's Internet video streaming library.

The Chinese government is tightening adoption rules to combat child trafficking, state media reported Tuesday, a day after eight people convicted of abducting or murdering children received sentences including the death penalty.

A woman who attacked a painting at Washington's National Gallery of Art earlier this year has struck again, police say, this time lashing out against a Henri Matisse painting at the museum.
Susan Burns was arrested Aug. 5 after police say she walked over to Matisse's 1919 painting "The Plumed Hat," and slammed the painting repeatedly against a wall, damaging its frame but not the $2.5 million painting.
